Clearer feedback, safer logs
- The overlay warns when the game’s Scaling is above 100%, which leaves the upscaler with nothing to do.
- Deep Light keeps the log of the previous session, so a crash can be traced after the game restarts.
DLSS, FSR and frame generation for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. One licence covers both games.
Deep Light follows every ETS2 and ATS update
When a new game version becomes stable, Deep Light for the previous version becomes free. 1.61 is the first version: it becomes free when 1.62 is stable.
DLSS and DLAA on NVIDIA RTX, FSR on AMD, Intel and older NVIDIA cards. Neither ETS2 nor ATS has an upscaler of its own; Deep Light adds one.
DLSS multi frame generation on RTX 50 (up to 6×) and RTX 40 (2×), FSR frame generation (2×) on any DirectX 12 GPU. Motion vectors come from the game, so traffic stays clean.
Deep ambient occlusion, cabin lighting and tonemapping, tuned per game version. Same engine, same features in ETS2 and ATS. Works with ProMods and your map mods.
18 mods, about 57,000 subscriptions. Every mod stays free on the Workshop. Supporters get new mods and big updates here first, 2 to 4 weeks earlier.

PricingOne plan for ETS2 and ATS. The founding price stays yours for as long as you renew.
Every ETS2 and ATS update moves the game code Deep Light hooks into, so each new version needs new work. Your support pays for that work and keeps the mods free.

Pay for a year and it stays yours. Every Deep Light build for every ETS2 and ATS version released during your year keeps working on your PC, even if you never renew.

Install.bat. It downloads ReShade and AMD FidelityFX, switches the game to Direct3D 12 and backs up the files it replaces.SHA-256: 6ec5444de61374d25eb3cc71eb562b6a64515f9ed24a55e334138f91b8c7e20e
Download the ZIP, close the game and run Install.bat. Start ETS2 and press Home to open the ReShade overlay, then go to Add-ons > DBM Deep Light. Uninstall.bat puts everything back as it was.
Yearly supporters keep what they paid for: Deep Light keeps working on every game version released during their year. Monthly supporters who cancel can still use Deep Light on the free game versions. When a new game version becomes stable, Deep Light for the previous version becomes free. 1.61 is the first version: it becomes free when 1.62 is stable. Either way, newer game versions and early access to new mods come back when you join again.
No always-online. You activate Deep Light once by pasting your licence key into the ReShade overlay > Add-ons > DBM Deep Light. While you are subscribed it works offline for up to 30 days, plus 3 days of grace, and renews its licence in the background, checking in about once a week when you are online. Your licence is active on one PC at a time, and you can move it to another PC once every 30 days. After an unrefunded yearly period ends, the game versions released up to that date stay licensed for good (keep) and work offline. While online, they check in about once a month, so a licence moved to another PC stops on the old one.
Usually within days, often on the first day. DBM is one person, though, so illness, family matters or other emergencies can delay it. Any delay is announced in News. Your licence and the builds you already have keep working while you wait.
Then the last build is released free for everyone, without any licence check, so nobody loses what they paid for. This promise is part of the terms of use.
DLSS and DLSS frame generation need an NVIDIA RTX card. FSR and FSR frame generation work on any DirectX 12 GPU from AMD, Intel or NVIDIA.
SCS releases a new game version every few months, plus open betas and hotfixes. Each one needs Deep Light to be updated. The subscription pays for that ongoing work.
